About the DJ.

DJ Raj Smoove, famously dubbed "The Greatest DJ in the World" by Lil Wayne, is a premier New Orleans-based DJ, producer, and artist manager with over 30 years of industry experience. Raised by a Pulitzer-nominated composer, he rose to prominence in the early 2000s as the official tour DJ for Cash Money Records and an in-house producer/engineer for Young Money Entertainment, contributing to seminal projects like Lil Wayne's Tha Carter. Today, he is a cornerstone of Gulf Coast sports and culture, serving as the official Game Day DJ for both the New Orleans Saints and Pelicans, while performing at major events like the ESSENCE Festival of Culture. Beyond the turntables, he champions the local music economy through his entertainment firm, The Gentilly Agency, which provides management, marketing, and advocacy for prominent Louisiana talent.
